1. Name and Address

(a) Name of the Mosque: Sreechandropur Model Mosque
(b) Address: Village – Sreechandropur, Post – Bolgari, Upazila – Ghoraghat, District – Dinajpur, Bangladesh

2. Objectives and Goals

(a) To promote the proper practice and spread of Islam.
(b) To ensure regular congregation (Jamaat) for all five daily prayers.
(c) To provide religious education and organize Quran learning activities.
(d) To contribute to moral and social development of the community.

3. Membership

(a) Any adult Muslim willing to participate in mosque activities may become a general member.
(b) Members are encouraged to contribute regular donations (monthly/annual).

4. Management Committee

(a) A Management Committee shall be formed to run mosque activities.
(b) The term of the committee will be 3 (three) years.
(c) Structure of the Committee:

• President – 1
• Secretary – 1
• Cashier – 1
• Members – 15 to 21

5. Functions of the Management Committee

1. Arrange five daily prayers, Jumu’ah and funeral prayers.
2. Operate Quran education, Hifz program, children’s Maktab and adult education.
3. Maintain income-expense records, assets, and regular monitoring.
4. Undertake mosque development activities.
5. Increase income through shops, land, property, agriculture or fish farming investments.
6. Prepare and implement annual plan and budget.
7. Develop and manage library and resource center.
8. Promote Islamic cultural activities.
9. Organize competitions and distribute prizes on religious occasions.
10. Raise awareness against drugs, extremism, rumors, and immoral culture.
11. Support poor, orphan, disabled and needy people.
12. Hold regular meetings (at least twice per year).
13. Quorum: minimum 51% members must be present.
14. Members shall not receive any salary or honorarium.
15. Committee formation and extension of term may be done by unanimous decision.

6. Roles and Responsibilities

(1) Imam

• Lead prayers and supervise Adhan
• Provide religious education
• Contribute to moral and social development
• Assist in religious events

(2) Muazzin

• Call Adhan
• Lead prayer in absence of Imam
• Maintain mosque discipline

(3) Khadem (Caretaker)

• Ensure cleanliness of the mosque
• Assist worshippers

(4) President

• Preside over all meetings
• Ensure implementation of policies
• Cast deciding vote when necessary

(5) Secretary

• Call and conduct meetings
• Coordinate activities and maintain records
• Prepare reports

(6) Cashier

• Deposit all funds into the bank
• Maintain income and expenditure records

(7) Members

• Assist in decision-making and implementation

7. Financial Management

• Funds will be collected through donations, subscriptions, and contributions.
• All transactions must be recorded with receipts.
• Annual audit will be conducted at least once per year.
• Misuse of funds will be considered a punishable offense.
• All funds must be deposited in a bank account and withdrawn with signatures of at least two authorized persons.

• Government grants
• Local donations and regular contributions
• Donation boxes
• Income from mosque property/assets
• Donations from individuals or organizations
• Miscellaneous sources

8. Annual General Meeting

At least two general meetings shall be held every year.

9. Amendment of Constitution

Any amendment to the constitution shall require approval of at least two-thirds (2/3) of the members.

10. Bank Account Management Committee

The following three persons will manage the bank account. Any two of them jointly can operate the account:

1. Md. Mahabubur Alam Mondal – President
2. Md. Abu Sayeed Mondal – Secretary
3. Abul Hasnat Md. Selim Mia – Cashier

All financial reports will remain open and displayed on the mosque notice board.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be resolved through local religious scholars, respected community leaders, and the management committee. Legal support may be taken if necessary.
